Mandatory attendance

Attendance is mandatory for workshop sessions.

Allowed absences

Students are allowed:

• up to 2 absences without a formal excuse, and
• up to 2 additional absences with a formal excuse.

Make-up work

Any missing in-class activity requires completing make-up assignments. Repeated failure to complete make-up work may result in failing the course.

Practical expectations

• Bring a laptop with R, RStudio, and Quarto installed (see the Tooling (R, RStudio, Quarto) page) or use PCs in the lab.
• Be ready to code during class (hands-on workshop format).
• If you miss a class, you are responsible for catching up on slides/labs and for submitting any assigned make-up work by the deadline specified by the instructor.
